I am seen as an expert on Native American historical and Inter-generational Trauma. I have lived on Native American reservations working extensively with many Tribal nations in: Behavioral Health, Tribal Government, Tribal Historical Preservation, Tribal Schools, Social Service Organizations, and speaking at many American Indian/Alaska Native Behavioral Health Conferences.

I worked with the US Federal Government Indian Health Services and presented to a wide variety of professional disciplines within the health field.

I am a trauma survivor. After years of talk therapy that did not make a dent in my trauma symptoms (only a dent in my wallet), I cured myself with Art Therapy.

Art Therapy To Rewire Your Brain System™ to heal thousands of adults and children, over the last 20+ years, from trauma-related illness such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and more.

I have trained thousands of mental health professionals and teachers around the world in the Start Up Art Therapy model who have successfully healed their patients and students from trauma.

I co-authored the Start Up! Art Therapy Manual (Amazon Kindle, 2017), with Linda Chapman, the founder of Neurodevelopmental Art Therapy, that has helped thousands of educators, therapists, coaches and parents to heal thousands of children, so they can thrive!

I Completed a successful research study in collaboration with South Dakota State University, demonstrating the Start UP! Art Therapy System's ability to permanently reduce trauma symptoms in Native American children 9-14 years within Pineridge Reservation, South Dakota.

I am currently developing a study in collaboration with University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and American Art Therapy Association.
